![]() Youth Summit Opens Doors To Tolerance, Exploration and CourageOn a cold, windy day in early December 2006, a group of more than 75 seventh and eighth grade participates in the Champion City Scholars Program and the Project Jericho After-School Arts Program had a unique opportunity to come to the Clark State campus to participate in a Youth Summit called Opening Doors.
Hosted by The Department of Job and Family Services and Project Jericho, the program was designed to introduce middle school students to a creative career exploration process. Students spent the day doing interactive workshops with visiting artist to explore the concepts of having a dream, finding the courage to pursue the dream and developing the tolerance to maneuver through any obstacles on the path to that dream.
