New Foundation Board Members

I’m proud to be part of an organization that supports such important educational work in this community. If the Springfield region is going to thrive, we have to assure that our young people have access to a first-class education. Clark State Community College has demonstrated great sensitivity to this need with creative and effective efforts like the Champion City Scholars program. This area is fortunate to have a wonderful educational asset like Clark State .

I was honored to be asked to serve on the Foundation Board and do so in the interest of all the Champion City Scholars current and future.  I believe this program is the best thing to happen to the city schools in my 32 years in education in Clark County . I've witnessed it change lives and offer hope where there was none.  Buy serving on the Board I will do whatever it takes to keep this wonderful program  alive at Clark State.

& Adjunct Faculty , Clark State

I truly believe that education is a necessary arrow in the quiver of all people.  Providing resources that help individuals obtain and develop those arrows is of the utmost importance.  I look forward to participating on this Board and assisting in the development and protection of the Foundation's assets, a key source for educational advancement at Clark State.

Stephen T. Williams, Business Administrator, St. John Missionary Baptist Church
